It took 3 years, but So So Def artist Da Brat is officially a free woman after serving her sentence.
Da Brat who's real name is Shawntae Harris was charged with aggravated assault back in 2007 when she smashed a bottle of liquor over a waitress head. According to a Twitter posting by Jermain Dupri, the 36 year old rapper is now a free woman.
"Happy day for me and all SO SO DEF fans, Da BRAT is finally home!" - Jermain Dupri's Twitter.
